An offer to binge: major hits and meaningful stories at VTM
This fall, VTM promises a binge-worthy season. The entertainment hub is serving major hits and exciting new flavors: from Mijn Restaurant and The Masked Singer to Het Complot and De Verraders. Content designed for relaxation and escape. But VTM also delivers meaningful stories, tackling themes that matter to Flemish viewers. With shows like Over Geld Gesproken, De Nonnen, and Andy en de Baksteen Belgen, VTM broadens perspectives. Sometimes humorous, sometimes confronting, but always significant.
Eye-opening and meaningful stories
Money. Love. Renovations. Power. Crime. Hope. This fall, VTM is focusing more than ever on themes that resonate deeply. In Over Geld Gesproken, Frances Lefebure and notary Carol Bohyn break the silence around finances. Honest, clear, and essential for anyone looking to fix their money matters. And what do Flemings do with that money? Stack bricks. Andy en de Baksteen Belgen explores what it really takes to build your dream home. De Wereld van Plopsa, meanwhile, celebrates 25 years of amusement park history with exclusive behind-the-scenes access. And in Marktrock: The Beat Goes On…, Kat Kerkhofs and her sister Lyn not only revive the iconic festival, but also deliver a musical tribute to their late father Jokke, the driving force behind Marktrock. From Leuven to New York in The Big Waffle on VTM GO, five young Belgians dive into the waffle cart business of entrepreneur Thomas De Geest. Three months of NY hustle reality.
VTM also dares to tell stories that cut deep. Nearly half of all murders in Belgium are relational. Moordzaken: Liefde is geen Alibi reconstructs how "love" sometimes ends in murder. And decades of silence are finally being broken. In De Nonnen, victims speak for the first time about abuse by nuns. Stories that have been silenced for years, but must be told.
Major hits and entertaining eyecatchers
When it comes to pure entertainment, this season will be one to savor. The iconic Mijn Restaurant is back, with Wim Opbrouck as a flamboyant host and a jury packed with top-notch talent: seasoned entrepreneur Marc Coucke, star chef Marcelo Ballardin, master pastry chef Sarah Renson, and hostess and top sommelier Shannah Zeebroek. While taste rules the kitchen, chemistry reigns in matters of love. Enter: Het Complot. Manu Van Acker ups the stakes in dating with an experiment where nothing is left to chance—think hidden cameras and carefully orchestrated sparks.
Amidst the new thrills, VTM continues to rely on its signature dishes. Never before have so many major hits come together in one fall season. The Masked Singer returns with four new detectives: Celine Van Ouytsel, Ward Lemmelijn, Francisco Schuster, and James Cooke. What hasn't changed is the million-dollar question: “Who are you, really?” De Verraders ramps up the psychological pressure with new game-changers and extra suspense on VTM GO in De Verraders: De Lockdown Tapes. Sing Again goes for intimacy in a cozy setting filled with big opportunities. Blind Getrouwd celebrates its 10th season with a surprising twist: participants meet each other before saying their vows, albeit blindfolded. And Special Forces takes its grueling training to an abandoned prison camp in Estonia.
This fall, viewers can also sink into exhilarating fiction at VTM—not only with a new season of Familie and the conclusion of Milo, but also with the continuation of Single Bells. Is it almost Christmas yet?
Whether it’s captivating shows, grand formats, relatable fiction, or true stories, every program at VTM is made to stand out.
Davy Parmentier, Channel Director VTM: “At VTM, we aim to make a difference this fall with a lineup that is as grand as it is meaningful. It’s a deliberate mix of proven major hits and surprising newcomers that show we're investing in creativity from our own soil once again. Manu Van Acker makes his debut as a VTM host in the mysterious dating show Het Complot, while Wim Opbrouck eagerly anticipates Mijn Restaurant. At the same time, we want to broaden horizons. With Over Geld Gesproken and Moordzaken: Liefde is geen Alibi, VTM dives deeper into themes that touch people—at home, among friends, and in public life. This is VTM at its best.”

Kristine Willems, Channel Director VTM 2: “VTM 2 is experiencing its best year yet. We’ve found the perfect mix of genres: the most relatable and down-to-earth reality, top-tier live soccer and darts, complemented by exciting films and captivating series. This fall, we’re building on that successful formula—quite literally. Andy Peelman and his wife Tine teeter between hope and despair during the construction of their own dream house, an adventure shared annually by 70,000 Belgians. On top of that, we’re doubling down on expanding our offering with the Woestijnvis documentary Marktrock: The Beat Goes On…, a musical and emotional journey by Kat and Lyn Kerkhofs to bring Marktrock back as a tribute to their late father.”
Annick Bongers, Content Director Streaming: “With VTM GO, we are strategically moving toward the next phase. We’re stretching the DNA to make room for new genres, fresh voices, and bold content. Steps are being taken behind the scenes, shaping our platform for tomorrow. It’s an exciting challenge to partner with the VTM GO team to define the future of our streaming platform.”
